Genealogical DNA Research

Ms. Davison is using her research skills developed as a lawyer in combination with her 15+ years of genealogy experience in order to perform genealogical DNA research services outside of the law practice. Genetic genealogy research combines DNA testing with traditional genealogy records research to uncover family history, verify ancestry, and identify relatives. This includes services related to adoptions, illegitimate births, and unknown parentage. The client (and potentially identified relatives) must DNA test on multiple DNA websites to maximize potential matches including on Ancestry, 23andMe, and MyHeritage. DNA analysis includes comparing autosomal (and possibly Y-DNA and mtDNA) chromosomal matches, triangulation, and building probability models. Genealogy trees will be built out based upon DNA matching. Ms Davison has successfully identified unknown parentage in over 25 cases including those of Jewish and Black/African-American heritage.

Please contact the office for a fee quote for these services.

International matters are handled by Ms. Davison, who is bilingual in French and English, in association with attorneys in both Brussels, Belgium and Luxembourg:

Ms. Davison was part of the legal team that worked on the world-renown case against the Swiss Banks and others for recovery of Holocaust-era assets. However please be advised that this website no longer contains materials and documents related to those cases as those matters have concluded.
